Muskaan is nine years old, chirpy and fun-loving. She comes from a poor and vulnerable family in the community we serve at in Jaipur. Her three elder siblings had to drop out of school in the fifth grade, but Muskaan is going to study till she completes schooling, and maybe beyond. Thanks to the Remedial Education Coaching (REC) Centre in the community where Muskaan can develop her learning outcomes, without having to drop out of school.

For 17-year-old Sadhna, although football is a sport she fell in love with only two years ago, not a day goes by now when she is not on the field. For young girls like her football is the answer to a society that initially tried to inhibit them from playing. To train they would have to visit the sports centre which is close by, but it also entailed walking through the busy community in shorts and a jersey or t-shirt.
